cnet reported this week from CES 2010 in Las Vegas from the Mad Catz stand of the new Saitek Pro Flight X65F due out in February in the US, expected in the UK hopefully a couple of months later.

Last year at the CES Show Nyko introduced the Wand, which allowed for button commands to be sent through the controller's Transport technology. We are big fans of the Wand which is bright and bold, also appearing to have a better range than the official Nintendo remote.

"In spite of this design quirk and the lack of 5 GHz support, the Mad
Catz's lower price tag makes it a reasonable alternative to Microsoft's
Wireless N adapter, particularly if you want the flexibility to network
multiple devices."

"I’ve had little trouble with Nyko devices and their chargers are first rate. The purists among you – you know who you are – will balk at the styling but the bargain hunters among you will realize it’s a pretty good deal, especially if you play gun games."

"Overall, the performance of the Wand is impressive for a third-party alternative. Tracking and hit detection is comparable to the Nintendo Wiimote, and the Trans-Port feature does present some interesting opportunities for add-on functionality."
